Introducing the
MS Urinary Function Screening Tool

A validated, self-administered screening tool to help identify MS patients with bladder symptoms who could benefit from a urologic evaluation.

Up to 80% of people with MS will suffer from some degree of bladder dysfunction, including urinary incontinence-yet only a minority are adequately managed.

MS Urinary Function Screening Tool

The peer validated MS Urinary Function Screening Tool was created in response to the growing need for an accurate way to identify MS patients with bladder problems.

This screener asks patients 8 key questions to uncover:

  • Whether they are experiencing urinary symptoms
  • To what degree
  • What the effects of these symptoms are on the patient's daily life
  • Whether their bladder issues warrant referral to a urologist

Understanding
the Results

Your score is: 8

Any checked box in the 3rd or 4th right hand column would incur a point.

A score of ≥ 3 would indicate to you and your patient that they may need further evaluation of their bladder health. The screener also advises the patient that a result of ≤ 3 should be discussed with their healthcare provider.
