What We Wish To Do

Help vulnerable children who have urgent, professionally assessed, health, social or educational needs regardless of race nationality or disability. Act to help secure the well-being of children in Montserrat and so protect them from all forms of harm.

Help to remove barriers for Disabled children who may require specific assistance so they can be fully included within Montserrat Society. Attract funding from both national and international sources to enable specific projects to run for the support of vulnerable children in Montserrat; Raising awareness of children’s issues and needs with a view to acting upon the above objectives

Our Constitution

Whereas it is recognized that vulnerable children who have urgent, professionally assessed, health, social or educational needs may be provided with this assistance regardless of race nationality or disability; and

Whereas being cognizant of the fact that securing the well-being of children; protecting them from all forms of harm, and securing their health and developmental needs is often outside the scope of government provision; and

Whereas being mindful of the need of a child with a disability to require specific interventions to enable them to be included within the educational and social systems; and

Whereas it is recognized that there is a need to attract funding from both national and international sources to enable specific projects to run for the support of vulnerable children in Montserrat; and

Whereas it is acknowledged that our voice as an organization is valuable in raising awareness of children’s issues and needs and with a view to attaining the objectives set forth in this Preamble, the parties to this document agree to the following constitution of the Montserrat Children’s Society inc.
